Whiteright Sun August 26, 1999 SHERMAN - Carl "Jack" Luper Sr., 91-year-old Sherman resident, died Monday, August 16, 1999 at his home. Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Sherman. Officiated was the Rev. Gahlen L. Warren, pastor of the church. Burial was in Whiterock Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Nida Luper; sons: Carl Luper Jr.,of Ratcliff, Ky., James Luper Sr., and Percy Luper, both of Sherman and Welton Luper of Whiterock Community; step-son, Ira Fullylove Jr. of Dallas; daughters, Ora Bowen of Sherman and Ellen Orr of the Whiterock Community; step-daughter, Fay Hunt of Dallas; sisters; Ocie Curry of Kansas City, Mo., Jennie Mickens of Sherman and Emma Scruggs of the Whiterock Community; 45 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
