Biggerstaff 21 September 1881 - 28 September 1932 The Whitewright Sun Friday, April 28, 1916 pg. 3 B.A. BIGGERSTAFF DEAD The many Whitewright friends of Mr. B.A. Biggerstaff, who resided near Tom Bean, were shocked Wednesday morning when they learned that he was dead. Mr. Biggerstaff was in town Saturday and seemed in better health than he had been for several months, and his sudden death came as a surprise to all. He had been ailing in health for some time, but had been feeling better than usual for the past several weeks. Mr. Biggerstaff was fifty-five years old. He was a native Texas, being born in the White Mound Community. He was a good citizen and a man of excellent habits. He was a member of the Christian church, of which he had been a member for a number of years. Besides a devoted wife, he leaves eight children; two brothers, J.H. of Whitewright and Robert Biggerstaff of Iowa, and two sisters, Mrs. Steve Lankford of near town and Mrs. Swearington of Ladonia.
