The Denison Daily Herald Saturday, June 30, 1906 pg. 7 THE DAY AT SHERMAN PERSONAL AND NEWS NOTES The remains of Sam Wallace, a pioneer resident of Grayson County which had been resting in the burying ground near Whitemound, were exhumed Wednesday and taken to Gainesville, where they were reinterred by the side of his wife, Mrs. Sarah Wallace, who died a few days since. The remains of a daughter were removed from Whitemound with the old gentleman's remains and taken to Gainesville.
