Van Alstyne Leader November 2, 1972 Page 5 Services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 1 at the Waldo Funeral Chapel for Miss Pearl Vivion, 90, former Grayson County resident of Durant, who died at 1:05 a.m. Monday at a Durant hospital. Services were conducted by Bill Wiley, minister of the Wood Street Church of Christ, with burial at the Whitemound Cemetery. Miss Vivion was born Nov. 28, 1881 in Missouri, the daughter of the late M.M. (Dick) Vivion. She formerly lived in the Whitemound community before moving to Durant 55 years ago. She was a legal secretary all of her working life. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Her only survivors are two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Joe Vivion of Van Alstyne and Mrs. Lucille Vivion of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Wilbur O'Neal, Clyde Shaw, Erwin Shaw, J.E. Mead, Bob Vivion and Bill Ireland.
