 Dorothy Townsend TOM BEAN - Graveside services for Dorothy Townsend, 80, of Tom Bean were held Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001 at Whitemound Cemetery in Grayson County. She died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, at Post Oak Health and Rehabilitation Center in Sherman. The Rev. Dalton Jaco of the First Assembly of God in Whitewright officiated. Mrs. Townsend was born on April 20, 1921 in Grand Island, Nebraska, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Katherine Kraning Fuss. She married Virgil Townsend. She was a Baptist Surviving are her daughter, Kathy Hendricks of Tom Bean; grandson, Preston Hendricks, Jr. of Tom Bean, granddaughter and her husband, Beatrice and Pedro Wences Sr. of Tom Bean, great-grandchildren, Pedro Wences, Jr., Daniel Wences, Michael Wences and Amanda Wences, all of Tom Bean, James Hendricks and Stephen Hendricks, both of Waxahachie. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Preston Hendricks, Sr. and great-granddaughter, Ma--- Marie Wences. Earnheart Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
