H.A. Lackey 16 June 1838 - 27 August 1917 Lettitia Lackey 9 December 1837 - 22 March 1930 The Whitewright Sun Friday, August 31, 1917 pg. 6 L.O. Lackey, Mrs. D.H. Martindale, C.C. Fogle and family, and others went to Tom Bean Tuesday afternoon to attend the funeral of Henry Lackey who died at that place Monday. Mr. Lackey was 79 years of age and was one of the pioneer citizens of Grayson county. About six years ago he moved from the old homestead north of Whitemound, a landmark community, to Tom Bean. He is survived by three children, Alfred and George Lackey of Tom Bean and Mrs. C.C. Fogle of this place. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Armstrong at Tom Bean and the interment was at Whitemound Cemetery. The services were largely attended by the people of that community and by many of the decendent's acquaintances and old friends from elsewhere.
