    Patric S Tillman 27 September 1929 - 5 January 2008 US Coast Guard The Herald Democrat Monday, January 7, 2008 Graveside services for Patric S. Tillman, Jr. who passed away on Friday, January 5, 2008 at Red River Regional Hospital in Bonham, Texas, were held Tuesday morning, January 8, 2008 at White Mound Cemetery. Mr. Tillman was born September 27, 1929 in Howe, Texas, son of Patric S. Tillman, Sr. and Pearl Elizabeth Enloe Tillman. He was a retired teacher who served on the faculty at Grayson County College in Computer Science-Business. Patric attended high school in Houston and then attended Baylor University on a scholarship. He played football and ran tack, once holding the interscholastic league record for the 200-yard low hurdles. He went on to do graduate work at East Texas State University, where he earned his Master's degree in education. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and was honorably discharged. He was also a 32nd Degree Mason. Survivors include a son, Patric Tillman III; daughter, Cindy Wilson and husband, Rick, of Pottsboro; sister, Linda Tillman Gustwick and husband, Tony, of Nachitoches, Louisiana; grandchildren, Rickey Wilson, Chrissy Wilson, Reeca Wilson Smith and husband, Jared; step-grandchildren, Scott Dickey and wife, Melissa; Stephanie Parker and husband, Chad; step-great-great-grandchildren, Preston Paulson and Alexis Dickey. Pallbearers were Bill Zachary, Jim Berry, Mike Sons, Mark Sons, Allen Shoulders, and Ricky Wilson, grandson. If desired, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, P.O. resident, were held December 27 at Waldo Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
Carroll Caddell, pastor of Howe First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Whitemound Cemetery. Mrs. Tillman, 77, died December 25 at Madison. She was born at Howe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph M. Enloe. She married Pat S. Tillman Sr. April 22, 1927 at Howe. She was a housewife. Survivors include one son, Pat Tillman Jr., Tom Bean; one daughter, Linda Dietrick, Madison; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
