Friday, October 26, 1900 pg. 2 LADY DIES SUDDENLY In Excitement Attendant Upon Excitement of Apprehended Storm Mrs. Ben Alexander who with her husband had been at work on the farm of Bronson White 8 miles west of the city died yesterday afternoon. Mrs. Alexander had weak lungs but was apparently in better spirits . . . than usual for the last few days. Yesterday the rain storm was preceded by a rather threatening display of clouds and she became greatly excited in apprehension of a high wind. She suddenly choked and before assistance could be given her died living only two or three minutes from the time she fell. The body will be buried near Van Alstyne.
