  Mrs. Sharon "Mimi" Dycus Bennett, 68, of Gunter passed away Saturday morning, November 7, 2020. She was born February 14, 1952 in Dallas, Texas, daughter of William Claude and Maudie Lee Dycus. Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Edwin Rivers; and her nephew, Terry Hackler. She was a woman with a strong Christian faith and a homemaker. She enjoyed crafts, Hallmark movies, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her husband of 50 years, William Robert Bennett; her 2 children, Ty Bennett and wife, Brenda, of Sherman; and Tisha and husband, Gary, of Gunter, Texas. Her 3 grandchildren, Kaylee, Beau, and Shae; 4 siblings, Shirley Hackler, Norma McLean, Darrell Dycus, and Tony Dycus. She also leaves many nephews and nieces.
