  Gunter, Texas - Services for Regena Ann Smith Peebles, 74, of Gunter were held Friday at the First Baptist Church in Gunter; Rev. Brandon Wright officiated and burial followed in Whitaker Cemetery. She passed away Monday at Wilson N. Regional Medical Center. Regena was born April 7, 1943 in Colbert, Oklahoma to Carl and Birdie Beavers Smith. She worked for Texas Interments and Target for many years before she retired. She is survived by her daughters, Sheila Morton and Marla Davis; son, Richey Peebles; grandchildren, Chad McCrory, Amanda McCrory, Ashley Cross, Codi Davis, Chassidi Davis, Misty Blagg and Sorena Palmquist; great-grandchildren, Kelynn Jaresh, Zackery Petrea, Zayden Petrea, Zailey Stolee, Mia Chavez, Zoe Jane McCory, and Liam Zane McCory. Pallbearers were Chad McCory, Jon Stolee, Ronald Warnke, James Jaresh, Kelynn Jaresh, Codi Davis, Robert Peebles and Robert Rivers.
