 Van Alstyne Leader November 16, 1978 pg. 2 Mrs. Underwood Services for Mrs. Shirley Yvonne Underwood, 41, a weaver at Burlington Industries who died Sunday at a Sherman hospital following a lengthy illness, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Flesher Funeral Chapel in Van Alstyne, conducted by the Rev. Tom Moore of Bethel Baptist Church. Burial was at Whitaker Cemetery near Gunter. Mrs. Underwood was born in Gunter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lonnie K. Morrison, was married to Allen Underwood December 2, 1977 in Howe. She was a Baptist. Surviving are her husband, daughters, Darla Ann Ham of Howe and Sheila Elaine Ham of Sherman; sons, J.W. Ham, Jr. of Sherman, John Wesley Ham of Dorchester and Charles Allen Ham of Dorchester; stepsons, Rex Allen Underwood and Donald Keith Underwood, both of Howe, and Billy Craig Underwood of Arkansas; mother, Mrs. Reba Morrison of Farmington; sisters, Mrs. Lurline Ann Hunt of Denison, Mrs. Janice Smith and Mrs. Edna Ferguson, both of Farmington; brothers, Gary Morrison of Gunter, Eldon Morrison of Sherman and Lonnie Morrison, Jr. of Farmington; and five grandchildren.
