Monday, February 26, 1973 pg. 2 Funeral services for Duncan Monger, 69, were held at Mullican-Little Funeral chapel Monday afternoon with Rev. Keith Gantt, pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Washburn Cemetery. Mr. Monger was pronounced dead on arrival at a Denison hospital after taking ill at his home. He was born January 4, 1904 [sic] at Bells, son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Monger. He was a farmer. Survivors are one sister, Miss Maggie Monger, and two uncles, Joe and Claude Washburn, all of Bells, Active pallbearers were Wesley Washburn, Shirley Washburn, Gene Washburn, Dan Dugan, Rufus Reynolds, and Mike Cross.
