- Services for Mrs. Hester Huffer Hasting, 73-year-old music teacher
who died Thursday, April 30, 1981 at Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman
following a brief illness were held Saturday afternoon, May 2, 1981 at
Mullican-Little Funeral Chapel. Rev. Houston Garner of
Hebron Baptist Church and Rev. Harry Stanley of Sherman
officiated.
Burial was in Wash burn Cemetery, west of Bells. Mrs. Hastings was born in Bells, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Huffer, and was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church. She formerly taught music in Grayson County area. Surviving are her son, Max Hasting of Houston; and brother, Joe Huffer of Honey Grove.
