Bells, Texas - Funeral services for Floyd Everet Washburn, age 91 of Bells, Texas will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2003 at the Bells Church of Christ with Mr. Charles Wrenn of the church officiating. Burial will follow at Washburn Cemetery, west of Bells.
Mr. Washburn passed away Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003, at Mullican Care Center in Savoy, Texas.
Mr. Washburn was born the son of Arthur Lee Washburn and Mary Vasti Washburn on September 25, 1912, in Bells, Texas.
On May 19, 1936 he married Ruby McMurtry, in Howe, Texas.
Floyd was retired from the Sherman Foundry, and also was a retired farmer and rancher. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Lee Washburn and Mary Vasti Washburn, brothers, Dave and Jim Washburn, and sister, Opal Reagan.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Washburn, Bells, Texas; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Gina Anderson, Wayne Pedigo, Jerry Pedigo, Roy Chumbley, Richard Gunsleman, Charles Hosch and Royselyn Reagan.
