Friday, April 15, 1921 pg. 8 Aged Man Committed Suicide Thursday Night A.K. Webb, 59, was found dead in bed Friday morning at his home near the standpipe. Justice of the Peace Fennell of Tom Bean was called to hold an inquest and after making a thorough investigation rendered a verdict that the man's death was cau sed by carbolic acid, self administered. Mr. Webb moved to this section a little over a year ago from Tennessee. He made a crop on the Grad y Gillett farms so uth of town last year. After the crop was gathered he moved to this place. He returned last Thursday from a visit in Kansas, and on the following morning was found dead in his bed. Members of the family knew nothing of his rash act until his body was found. The funeral was conducted Saturday morning by Elder W.N. Carter at the fam ily residence. Interment was in the City Cemetery. Mr. Webb is s urvived by his wife and five children - three daughters and two sons.
