  John F. Thornhill 17 December 1944 - 19 February 1945 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, February 22, 1945 pg. 5 Funeral services were held at the family home at 3 p.m. Tuesday for Johnnie Frank Thornhill, 3-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thornhill. Services were conducted by Rev. W.A. Casseday, pastor of the Presbyterian Church. Interment was in the City Cemetery. The infant died Monday at 3 p.m. after only a few days illness of pneumonia. Besides the parents, survivors are a half-sister, Miss May Belle Price of Sherman; a sister, Joyce Ann Thornhill; a brother, Jimmie Lee Thornhill; grandparents, Mrs. Martha Standford of Sherman and Mr. and Mrs. J.P.
