Thursday, January 10, 1963 pg. 2 DEATHS Clyde Thomas Sadler, 60, well known Whitewright cattle dealer, died about 4 p.m. Wednesday in an ambulance en route from Sherman to Whitewright. He was stricken with a heart attack at Whitesboro earlier in the day while attending a cattle sales auction. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon in Earnheart funeral chapel, conducted by Rev. Dale Gore and Rev. C.C. Dooley. Burial was in the City Cemetery here. Born December 10, 1902 at Kentuckytown, Mr. Sadler was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Scott Sadler. He married Mrs. Velma Phillips of Whitewright September 14, 1942. Names as pallbearers were Paul Ryon, Jack Farley, Bill White, Joe Rich, James Donaghey and John Paul Stephens. Surviving are his wife; a stepson, James B. Phillips of Great Falls, Montana; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Marvin Smith of Dallas; 2 brothers, John Sadler of Sherman and Orvil Sadler of San Angelo; 2 sisters, Mrs. E.H. Hughes of Sherman; and Mrs. Walter Butler of Austin; and 4 grandchildren.
