Henry L. Webster 1870 - 1951 Annie B. Webster 1873 - 1951 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, August 30, 1951 pg. 1 DEATHS Henry L. Webster, 81, former Whitewright postmaster, was buried here Monday afternoon, graveside services having been held at 2 o'clock at the City Cemetery. Mr. Webster died at Huntsville where he had made his home with a son, Jack Webster, for four years. Born in Campbelville, Kentucky, May 31, 1870, Mr. Webster came to Texas in 1902 and settled at Whitewright. He was engaged in farming until he was appointed postmaster in 1913, in which capacity he served until 1922. He moved to Sherman in 1923 and was employed by Hardwicke-Etter Company for a number of years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annabelle Adams Webster; two son, John E. Webster of Sherman and Jack Webster of Huntsville; two daughters, Mrs. Morris Kearney of Greenville and Mrs. Lynwood Lovelace of Bonham; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Another son, Gilmore Webster, died at Denison several years ago. John E. Webster 1909 - 1969 Ollie M. Webster, 55 [sic], the former Ollie Mitchell. Burial was iN Whitewright Cemetery. Mrs. Webster was born July 3, 1900 [sic], in Tennessee and came to Whitewright as a child with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Will Mitchell, She married John E. Webster November 7, 1934 and had lived in Sherman since that time. Survivors are her husband; two sons; two daughters; one brother, Lloyd P. Mitchell, of Odessa; and three sisters, Mrs. Kathleen Felker of Odessa, Mrs. Joe Warren of San Antonio and Mrs. Choice Summers of Trenton.
