  Cora Dell Parker 2 January 1892 - 6 August 1942 William Joseph Parker 24 February 1882 - 8 May 1948 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, August 11, 1942 pg. 5 Funeral services for Mrs. Cora Dell Parker, 49, who died in a Sherman hospital at 4:30 p.m. Thursday following an illness of 5 months. were held Friday afternoon at the City Cemetery here. Rev. E.P. Wootten, pastor of the Baptist Church, officiated. Interment directed by Earnheart. Mrs. Parker was born January 5, 1893 [sic] in Conway County, Arkansas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mack Carroll. She married William J. Parker and came to Whitewright in November 1940. Surviving are her husband; a son, Perry V. Parker of Seminole, Oklahoma; 3 daughters, Mrs. Hubert Brown of Whitewright; Mrs. Reaford Hudson of Austin; and Miss Shirley Ann Parker of Whitewright; one sister, Mrs. Francis Hooves of Holdenville, Oklahoma; and 2 brothers.
