Friday, February 26, 1931 pg. 1 T.E. Kight Dies Suddenly Tuesday T.E. Kight, 43, of Hope, Arkansas, son-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Holcomb, died suddenly at his home Tuesday evening. According to reports received here by relatives, Mr. Kight was taken ill while driving his automobile about 18 miles from Hope. He was taken to his home and died a short time after arriving there. Mr. Kight was a traveling salesman and represented the International Shoe Company. He had made his home in Hope for the past several years. He was born at Van Alstyne. His parents moved to Pilot Point a number of years ago, where he grew to manhood. About seven years ago he was married to Miss Nadine Holcomb, who survives. He is also survived by a 4-year-old daughter and his father, W.E. Kight and two sisters. The funeral services will be held th is afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the First Baptist Church. The services will be in charge of Rev. J.L. Truett, who will be assisted by the pastor of the First Baptist Church at Hope, Arkansas, of which the deceased was a member.
