Texas -- A graveside service for Betty Kathryn Davis Shaw, 80, of
Whitewright is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10,
2014 at the Vittitoe Cemetery. Brother Bryan Spurgin will
officiate. Family visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until
8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow
Funeral Chapel in Whitewright. Mrs. Shaw was born January 21, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her parents were John Robert and Matilda Jane Scott Davis. She married Cecil Edward Shaw March 17, 1956 in Kaufmann County and she was a member of the Pentecostal Church. She passed away Friday December 5, 2014 at the Texoma Healthcare Center in Sherman. She is survived by her husband, Cecil Edward Shaw of Garland; her son: Stephen Graham; her daughter: Diana Lynn Graham of Cave City, KY; her sisters and brothers: Mary Joan Graham of Whitewright, Sandra Kay Morris of Crowley; James R. Davis of Ft. Worth and Roy Allen Capps of Princeton; her 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Edward Shaw and Curtis Wayne Shaw, as well as nine brothers and sisters.
