The Whitewright Sun Thursday, December 13, 1956 pg. 1 Funeral services for Elbert Earl Sullenger, 64, are to be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Tom Bean Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Bob Scarborough and Rev. David Griffin. Burial will be in Vittitoe Cemetery, Kentuckytown, directed by Earnheart. Pallbearers will be G.E. Ball, C.S. Teague, D. Elliott, Raymond Stephens, Claude Lackey and Granville Ball. Mr. Sullenger died suddenly of a heart attack at 2 a.m. today at his home on Whitewright route one. Born December 8, 1892, near Whitewright, Mr. Sullenger was the son of William W. and Pearl Sullenger. He married Miss Bertha Trosper December 22, 1912, at Whitemound. He was a farmer, and a member of the Tom Bean Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife; one brother, L.V. Sullenger of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews.
