KENTUCKYTOWN NEWS
A mantle of sadness and gloom was cast over this community when a message was received  here telling of the death of Mrs. Josephine Foster, an old time citizen of this place, who died at the home of her son, O.H. Foster, at Wichita Fallas, October 1, after an illness of ten weeks duration.
The remains were laid to rest in the Vittitoe Cemetery Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock, when a beautiful and impressive funeral service was conducted by Rev. C.C. Childress and Rev. I.E. Teague.
Mrs. Foster was a devoted Christian, she joined the Methodist Church early in life and lived true to the teachings of the church and her Maker.  Her Christian influence could be felt in every hour spent with her.  She fully realized that the end was near and said, "all is well with me."  While we will miss her face and sweet presence, yet a loving memory will cling close to our hearts: "Gone but not forgotten."  She cannot come to us, but we can go to her, where we will dwell in eternal pleasure with our loved ones.
Mrs. Foster is survived by three sons: O.H., Hayden P. and Ben Foster; a sister and brother and seven grandchildren.
