The Whitewright Sun Friday, June 25, 1915 pg. 3 Virgil B. Teague, residing with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Teague, near Tom Bean, died at one o'clock Sunday monring. Young Teague had recently undergone an operation for appendicitis and was thought to be well on his way to recovery, but new complications set up and he sank rapidly. He was nineteen years old and was a young man of fine character and exemplary habits. The funeral and interment at Vittitoe cemetery Monday afternoon was in charge of undertakers from Tom Bean and was largely attended by relatives and friends of the boy whose untimely death brought grief to the people among whom he lived.
