  Izola Bell Spencer 3 January 1922 - 28 January 1997 Buford "Boots" Spencer 14 February 1914 - 13 July 1973 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, July 17, 1975 BUFORD SPENCER SERVICES HELD Services for Buford Spencer, 61, of Whitewright were held at the Kentuckytown Baptist Church Tuesday afternoon with the Rev. Houston Garner of Quinlan and the Rev. Lionel Lindley of Kentuckytown, Baptist ministers, officiating. Burial was in the Vittitoe cemetery under the direction of Wise Funeral home. Mr. Spencer died at 4:16 a.m. Sunday, July 13, 1975, in a Sherman hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1914, in Collin county, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Spencer. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Izola Spencer of the home, three brothers, Delmer, J.B. and M.C. Spencer, all of Whitewright; three sisters, Mrs. Helen Ray Mason of Illinois, Mrs. Bonnie Surrell of Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Tola Fay Hendricks of Whitewright, and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Kentuckytown Baptist Church and a retired farmer. Active pallbearers were Gerry, Ricky, Junion and Bob Spencer, Ronnie Hendricks and Herbert Surrell.
