Burial was in the Vittitoe cemetery. The Whitewright Sun Thursday, August 24, 1933 pg. 5 MRS. ALLIE FOREST Mrs. Allie Forest of the Kentuckytown community died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.E. Allen, 205 East Brockett street, Sherman, at noon last Thursday. Mrs. Forest was 59 years old and had lived in Grayson County for the past 33 years. She was born in Harsells, Alabama, October 2, 1873. Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church in Kentuckytown Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Cleobus Chumbley of Howe in charge, assisted by the Rev. John Henderson, pastor at Kentuckytown. Mrs. Forest is survived by her husband, John M. Forest, of Kentuckytown; two sons, by a former marriage, Ernest Maddox, of Tom Bean and William Maddox of Sherman, and three other sons, Henry Forest and Sam Forest of Sherman, route 3, and A.L. Forest, Sherman, route 5; four daughters, Mrs. Allen of Sherman, Mrs. Edna Mae McAfee, seven miles south of Sherman, Mrs. Eva Balew of Athens, Alabama, and Mrs. Allie LaFoy of Sherman, route 3; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Stone of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Edna Howell of Decatur, Alabama; and a half brother F.A.
