Cora B. Holcomb 1889 - 1956 Truman A. Holcomb 1875 - 1956 The Whitewright News Thursday, January 12, 1956 pg. 1 Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Earnheart Funeral Chapel for Mrs. T.A. Holcom, 68, who died Saturday at 1:30 a.m. in her home in Tom Bean. Rev. Bob Scarborough, Baptist minister, officiated. Burial was in Vittitoe Cemetery Pallbearers were Wesley Brown, Jewel Biggerstaff, Raymond Stephens, Henry Norman, G.E. Ball and Gilbert Blythe. Mrs. Holcomb was a native of Honey Grove and a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Martin. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors are her husband, T.A. Holcomb of Tom Bean; four sons, Marvin and Ocie Holcomb, both of Odessa, R.V. Holcomb of San Antonio, and Travis Holcomb of Tom Bean; one step-son W.B. Holcomb of Midlothian; one step-daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Mitchell of Sherman; three sisters, Mrs. Lester Caylor and Miss Pearl Martin, both of Ravenna; and Mrs. W.H. Jenkins of Dallas; two brothers, Alvin Martin of Ravenna and Jess Martin of Sherman, and six grandchildren. Myrtle M.
