Hardcastle, died about 6 o'clock last Sunday afternoon at the home of her parents four miles southwest of town. She had typhoid fever and had been ill with this malady for thirty days when death knocked to claim its toll. The decendent was a popular young girl in her community and it was stated that an unusually long cortege of her friends and those of the family of which she was a member accompanied the body to the Vittitoe Cemetery, where interment took place Monday afternoon, under the direction of undertakers from this city. Rev. I.E. Teague conducted the funeral services while the large crowd stood with bowed heads and sorrowful hearts in tribute of respect. In the untimely death of this young lady the community shares with genuine interest and sympathy the grief of the parents and surviving children. The shock falls quite heavily on Mr. and Mrs. Hardcastle, who only a month since were called to Sherman to attend the funeral of their daughter, Mrs. Marvin Nunally.
