Thursday, March 16, 1933 pg. 1 Walter Lee Files, 47, died at his home on the Wade Sears farm, north of town, Thursday morning of pneumonia. The deceased resided north of Bells up to several months ago when he moved to the Sears farm. He is survived by his widow and 6 children, 4 sons and 2 daughters. The funeral service was held at the Kentuckytown Baptist Church Friday afternoon with Rev. Hancock, Baptist minister of Bells, in charge. The burial service was held at the Vittitoe Cemetery.
