Tobias A. "Toby" Dunlap 22 January 1986 - 1 August 2012 The Herald Democrat August 5, 2012 Denison - Tobias Andrew "Toby" Dunlap of Denison, Texas met his Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 as a result of a car crash near Woodward, Oklahoma. Toby was taken from his earthly home much too soon for our human minds to understand, but we rest assured his homegoing was right on time according to God's perfect plan. Toby was born January 22, 1986 in Denison, son of Steven Anda and Linda Ann Daugherty Dunlap. He grew up in Denison where he attended Trinity United Methodist Church and participated in several activities. Toby joined the Boy Scouts of America as a young boy, working his way through the ranks and earning the status of Eagle Scout. Toby attended elementary school at Southmayd and attended Whitesboro Middle School. He graduated from Whitesboro High School, a member of the Class of 2004. Toby decided to pursue a career as a diesel mechanic. He attended UTI in Houston, Texas, earning his degree in 2006. Toby traveled over the United States, going where his vocation required. He enjoyed seeing the beauty and grandeur of our country along his many trips to different job sites. HIs job took him to Wyoming where he met the young lady who would become his wife. Toby and Sabrynna Bartle were married on April 14, 2012 at Virginia Unitd Methodist Church in Savoy, Texas where they attended regularly together. Toby had many interests and hobbies. He enjoyed shooting his guns, flying remote controled airplanes, long rang marksmanship shooting, photography, travelling and spending time with family and many friends. He was employed at Big Iron Crane and Trucking, Inc. Toby leaves his sweet wife; his mom, Linda of Denison; brother and sister-in-law, Casey and Gloria Dunlap and nephew Garen of Diboll, Texas; grandpa, Bob Dunlap of Midwest City, Oklahoma; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Tamara and Randy Bartle of Wisconsin; and in-laws, MaKayla, Cody and Bailey; Aunt Phyllis Woolridge and cousins, Lisa and Dawn of Uvalde, Texas; Uncle Danny Daugherty and cousins, Waylon and Dustin of Grandfield, Oklahoma; Aunt Jane and Uncle Larry Bruner of Healdton, Oklahoma; cousin, Julie Bruner of Ada, Oklahoma; Aunt Rahe Sibley of Midwest City, Oklahoma; cousin, Eddie Steward and family; cousin, Lori Lesser and family; many other relatives and a host of friends. Greeting Toby in Heaven were his dad; maternal grandparents Lois and Junior Daugherty; paternal grandmother, Betty Dunlap; Aunt Fern and Uncle Virgil Jackson; Aunt Ruby and Uncle Cecil Steward; Uncle Jack Sibley; cousin, Mike Dame; and other relatives he is meeting for the first time. Services were held Monday morning, August 6, 2012 at Virginia Point United Methodist Church with Rev. Louella Williams officiating.
