Williams 1885 - 1921 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, January 29, 1970 pg. 7 Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hebron Baptist Church for Nathanial Garland Williams, 79, who died Tuesday morning at his home on Route 1. Mr. Williams was born August 13, 1890 near Bells, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Samuel L. Williams. He was married to Chloe Cherry December 22, 1942 at Bells. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Baptist Church. Rev. Houston Garner, Baptist minister from Whitewright and Rev. Harry Stanley of Bells will officiate with burial in the Virginia Point Cemetery north of Bells. Survivors are his wife of Bells; two step-sons, Paul Cherry of Denison and Carl Cherry of Garland; one daughter, Miss Evelyn Williams of Bells; one step-daughter, Mrs. L.M. Wells of Bells; one brother, Frank Williams of Bells; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
