MRS. M. B. COTTEN

Funeral services for Mrs. M. B. Cotten, 70, who died last Thursday at her home on Sherman Rt.1, were held Friday afternoon at 4 in the First Baptist Church of Howe. She had been ill over four years. Rev. Roy Cloudt conducted the services. Interment was in the Van Alstyne City Cemetery. She was born in Van Alstyne and married Mr. Cotten here in 1908. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five sons, Troy Cotten of Houston, Leo Cotten of Richardson, Truett Cotten and Horace Cotten, both of Sherman, and Gene Cotten of Van Alstyne; by two daughters, Mrs. Garland McAfee of Sherman and Mrs. W.W.Keller of Gainesville; one brother, Orbin Whitaker of Van Alstyne; by two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Hunnicutt and Mrs. Cora Burk, both of Van Alstyne; by six grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
