Dobbins 1898 - 1974 Emily Ivy Dobbins 1899 - 1966   Van Alstyne Leader July 14 1966 P.1 Mrs. Emily Dobbins Dies Mrs. Emily Ivy Dobbins, 67, died Sunday at her Van Alstyne residence after a sudden illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. Conducting the services was the Rev. E.G.Gregory, the Rev. Ralph White. Burial was in Van Alstyne Cemetery, directed by Flesher Funeral Home. Mrs. Dobbins was born March 10 1899, in Howe, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe McIntire. She was married to Claude Dobbins April 15 1915 in Howe. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Van Alstyne. Survivors include her husband of Van Alstyne; three daughters, Mrs. Claudine Latham of Leonard, and Mrs. Dorothy Kindle and Mrs. Joyce Gentry, both of Van Alstyne; a son, Clifford Dobbins of Alaska; a brother, Lee McIntire of Howe, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
