Jack Walton Belcher

VAN ALSTYNE - Jack Walton Belcher, 82-year-old Van Alstyne resident, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005 at Wilson
N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel
in Van Alstyne with the Rev. Bobby Hash officiating.
Burial will follow at Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mr. Belcher was born on April 18, 1923, in Lebanon, Okla., son of Willington and Cldyia (Davis) Belcher.
He worked as a TV repairman and was a member of Church of God in Van Alstyne. He served in the U.A. Army
during World War II.
Surviving are his loving and caring niece, Cheryl Green of Denison; and nephew, Larry belcher. He had many
2nd cousins and was called "Uncle Jack". Among these were favorites for the loving care they gave to him. Also,
nieces, Darla Charlene Lane, Brenda Kirby and Linda Mae Robertson; and nephews and namesake, Wayne Walton Davis
and Charles Kirby. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Tiny Belcher and Leta Caughert; two brothers,
Milage and Clifford Belcher.
The family was at the funeral home from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21.
