 Charles Riley Adams 4 May 1932 - 1 April 1994 Nancy Jo Houx Adams 13 May 1931 - Sherman Democrat Tuesday, April 11, 1995 Page A6 VAN ALSTYNE -- Services for Charles Riley Adams of Van Alstyne, 61-year-old carpenter who died Friday in Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, were held Saturday in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. John Connar officiated, and burial was in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mr. Adams was born in Anna, the son of Thomas Edgar Adams and Nellie Combest Adams, and married Nancy Jo Houx on July 3, 1952, in Dallas. He was a Baptist. Surviving are his wife; sons, Paul Adams of Garland and John P. Adams of Van Alstyne; sister, Shirley Beldon of Howe; brothers, Tom Adams of Lawton, Okla., and Norman Adams of Allen; and three grandchildren.
