Neal Bodeker, 62, passed away Nov. 9, 2007 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman. He was born Feb. 10, 1945 in Cleveland, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lois Bodeker; a daughter, Tammy Irene Fincher and her husband, Jason; two sons, Neal Daniel Bodeker and his wife, Alicia, and Carl William Bodezer; nine grandchildren, Nikki Fincher, 17, Brittni Fincher, 15, John Michael Rogers, 10, Tabitha Rogers, 9, Jessica Bodeker, 9, Samantha Bodeker, 7, Emaley South, 7, Bobby Higgins, 5 and Rebekah Bodeker, 5 months.
The family received friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Everyone is requested to meet at 1:45 p.m. at Flesher Funeral Home for the processional to the cemetery.

1946 - 2018

Van Alstyne- Lois Evelyn Lambert Bodeker, 71, a Van Alstyne resident passed away at home surrounded by family on August 1st, 2018.
Mrs. Bodeker was born on December 1st, 1946 in Berea, Ohio, the daughter of Chandley Lambert and Clarrissa Trippe Lambert. On February 5th, 1966, she married Neal Bodeker in Lewisville, Texas.She
was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, her parents, four of her brothers and three of her sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Fincher, and husband, Jason of Van Alstyne; her two sons, Neal Bodeker, and his wife, Alicia, of Van Alstyne; and Carl Bodeker and his wife, Diana, of Dallas; one sister; two brothers; twenty grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Family visitation will be at Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman, TX from 6pm to 8pm on Friday, August 3rd, 2018. Graveside services will be held at 10am on August 4th at the Van Alstyne Cemetery with Rev. Kevin Martin officiating.
