Henry M. Benton, for many years a resident and business man of Van Alstyne died at his home in that city Saturday.   He is survived by his wife and the following children: W.D. Benson and Mrs. W.W. Blassingame of Van Alstyne; Homer and Roy Benton of Dallas; and Mrs. Morrel Sears of this city.  The surviving widow is  a daughter of Dave Fulton, an early settler of the community south of Cannon.  Mr. and Mrs. Morrel Sears attended the funeral and interment at Van Alstyne Sunday afternoon.
