VAN ALSTYNE - Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Van Alstyne Cemetery for Opal McMillan Bassham, 97, who died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007 at Houston University Place Nursing Center.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Bassham of Phoenix, Ariz.; sons, Burton Bassham of Abingdon, Va. and Gordon Bassham of Wichita, Kan.; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
