Charlotte Ann Willoughby passed away on Saturday, December 10th, 2022. She was born June 26th, 1948, in Greenville, Texas to Charley Frank and Rae Christine Hays. In high school, she was a member of the Southlake Carroll Emerald Belles drill team. She and Richard were sweethearts since the eighth grade and on November 11, 1966, they were joined in holy matrimony.
Charlotte and Richard moved to Canton in 1983 where she spent 28 years working for Brookshire’s before retiring to spend more time with family and friends. Charlotte loved spending her days quilting with Richard. She also enjoyed reading and attending all of her grandkid's activities. She and Richard have been long-standing members of the First Baptist Church of Canton for over 30 years. She loved all things nature and enjoyed traveling and taking in the scenery.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Charley Frank and Rae Christine Hays, and brother,
Jim Hays.
Charlotte is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Richard Willoughby; son, Matthew and Toni Willoughby; daughter, Kamra and David Reid; grandchildren: Kaytlynn, Kyle, Elizabeth, Isabelle, and Remington Willoughby and Graysen, Landon, and Lauren Reid.
