Arch Childs, a well known Negro resident of the mill district, died suddenly of heart trouble Monday morning.  He had been to church Sunday night and slept soundly as usual, but when he stirred to arise Monday morning, the fatal stroke came on him.
The body was taken to Van Alstyne for burial.

Not marked - He likely was buried in African-American sections - see map.
