Foy Mack Lowe was born on March 31, 1938, in Gunter, TX, to Odell and Ima Lowe and was called home on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at the age of 82.
Foy was a lifetime member of the NRA, life time member of BASS, Charter member of Texoma Bass Club, member of the Ducks Unlimited and a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts of America. Foy was the definition of a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing while spending many hours at the deer lease with his family. He knew the value of a good lure as well the meaning of a great shot gun. He loved his country music and particularly enjoyed the music of his dear friend Ray Price.
He is survived by his son, Steven Lowe of Oklahoma, ten grandchildren as well as nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Odell and Ima Lowe as well as his son Donald Lowe.
Graveside services honoring Foy’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, April 2, 2021, at the Van Alstyne Cemetery, located on Austin Street in Van Alstyne, TX. The service will be officiated by
L.D. Byrd of Gunter.
