JS. Sims entered eternal rest on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Mullican Care Center, in Savoy, TX.
JS. was born to the parentage of Manson and Florida Williams Sims, on March 12, 1927 in Columbia, Mississippi and was a longtime resident of Van Alstyne. JS. was a loving and caring person and loved spending time with his family and friends but, most of all he loved serving his Lord.
Those Left to cherish JS. memories are his Brother; Willie Sims, of McKinney, TX; and extended family and friends.
He will lie in repose Friday, November 30, 2018 from 10:00AM till 5:00PM at Scoggins Funeral Home for viewing.
The Home going Celebration will be held at 1:00PM Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. S.T. Gipson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Van Alstyne, Cemetery.
