A6 ALFRED BALDWIN Van Alstyne - Services for Alfred B. Baldwin, 78-year-old retired bookkeeper of Van Alstyne, who died Wednesday at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First United Methodist Church in Van Alstyne. The Rev. Mark Moore and the Rev. B.C. "Pete" Robertson will officiate. Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Flesher Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Mr. Baldwin was born in Whitemound, the son of Ed and Jessie Lackey Baldwin. He graduated from North Texas State University in 1941. He married Margaret Ann McKinney Sept. 1, 1945, in Van Alstyne. He had been employed by Grayson-Collin Electric Company in Van Alstyne and retired after 32 years of service. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Van Alstyne. Surviving are his wife; son, David Alfred Baldwin of Denton; sisters, Louise O'Quin and Jane Taylor, both of Sherman; brothers, William Baldwin and Jack Baldwin, both of Sherman and Leslie Baldwin of Temple; and two grandchildren. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday and other times at 501 N. Dallas in Van Alstyne. Herald Democrat Monday, December 27, 2004 pg. A5 MARGARET ANN BALDWIN Denton - Margaret Ann Baldwin, 83, died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004 in Denton, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church, Van Alstyne with B.C. Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mrs. Baldwin was born October 13, 1921 in Van Alstyne, Texas, the daughter of Sewell McKinney and Fannie Webster. She was a School Teacher. She married Alfred Baldwin, he preceded her in death. She was a member of First Methodist Church, Van Alstyne. Surviving are her son, David Baldwin and wife, Shepora of Denton; two grandchildren, Peina Baldwin, Kassandra Baldwin, both of Denton.
