 Bobbie Lou Arp 27 April 1932 - 3 December 1994 December 1994 ( Sherman, Texas Newspaper) Van Alstyne - BOBBIE LOU ARP, 62 of Sherman died Saturday night at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne. Burial will be at Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mrs. Arp was the daughter of Walter and Lillie (Tuley) Jay. She married Richard Dewel Arp on May 5, 1958 in Durant, OK. She was a nurse's aide for several nursing homes and was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband of Sherman; daughters, Sarah Syrena Edwards of Sherman and Michelle Renee Strickland of Sherman; sons, Tommy Jay Shelley of Forney and David Glenn Arp of Sherman; sisters, Betty Umphress of Van Alstyne and Imogene Kerby of Van Alstyne and seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday.
