LELA M. ADAMS

VAN ALSTYNE -- Services for Lela Myrtle Adams, 86-year-old Sanger resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne.  She died Thursday, July 18, 1996, at the Kern Manor Nursing Home in Pilot Point.
Officiating will be Carroll Caddell and N.G.Free.  Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born on Dec. 20, 1909, in Texas, the daughter of Thomas A. Bell and Maud Bowlin Bell.  She married Clyde A. Adams on Oct. 13, 1928 in Van Alstyne.
She was a member of the Methodist church at Blue Mound, Texas.
Surviving are a daughter and her husband, Eunice and Dick Klein of Sanger; six grandchildren, Gale Harris, Shelly Mills, Richard Skipworth, Steve Klein, Keith Klein and Larry Petersen; a sister and her husband, Jewel and J.D. McNeil of Gainesville; and brother, Chester Bell of Dallas.
The family was at the funeral chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday.
