H. F. Caraway Rites Friday In Van Alstyne

Services for Horace Foster Caraway, 74, retired lineman for Western Union who died Wednesday at a Sherman nursing home, were held Friday at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by Rev. William Murle, Baptist minister. Burial was in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Caraway was born in Texas. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Van Alstyne. He married Pearl Strickland July 30, 1918 at Van Alstyne.
Surviving are his wife, of Van Alstyne; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Trammell of Abilene and Mrs. Glyn Haworth of Dallas; one son, John G. Caraway of Denver, Colo., six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Erskine Bearden of Howe; one brother, Ebb Caraway of Carthage, N.Y.
