Van Alstyne, Texas -- Ollie Leu Jenkins, 85, of Van Alstyne passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at Wilson Jones Hospital in Sherman.  She was born February 23, 1931 in Grayson County, Texas to John Wesley Hix, and Mary Reneau. She married Raye Jenkins February 28, 1948 in Van Alstyne.

She is survived by her husband, Raye Jenkins; son and daughter in law Mark Jenkins & wife Shonna; daughter Donna Russell; sisters, Mary Torres and Peggy Sparkman; grandchildren, Brad Jenkins and wife Sara, Jory  Russell and wife Cris, Joel Russell and wife Kacy, Jamie Molder and husband Nic, Ashley Jenkins, Brook Jenkins, Jessica Jenkins and husband Charlie; great-grandchildren Grace Jenkins, Reid Russell, Parker Jenkins, Rylee Russell, Jordan Russell, John Jenkins, Cohen Molder, Ryder Russell, Jonah Russell, Jensen Molder, Julia Russell, and Logan Ham and Britton Jenkins.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne with Jim Poole officiating.  Burial will follow at the Van Alstyne Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 22, 2016 at Scoggins Funeral Home.

Ollie Leu Jenkins is preceded in death by son, Johnny Jenkins; parents, John and Mary Hix; and siblings, J.W., Robert, and Helen.

Pallbearers will be Joel Russell, Jory Russell, Reid Russell, Brad Jenkins, Charlie Ham, Tommy Jeffcoat, and Jason Sparkman.
