VAN ALSTYNE - Services for
Mrs. Hallie Vera Hopkins, 72, who
died Friday at Sherman hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at
Flesher
Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Hugh Moody of the First Christian
Church.
Burial will be at the Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mrs. Hopkins was born at Mantua, daughter
of
the late Mr. and Mrs. Ike Cripps and married Ivan Hopkins June 2, 1939
in
Huntsville. She was a member of the Christian Church.
Surviving are her husband; son
Jesse G.
Gracy of Tom Bean; sisters, Mrs. Bessie McDonough of Howe and Mrs. Auda
Kathryn
Wallen of Greenville; brothers, Leon Cripps of Howe, Lonnie Cripps of
Van
Alstyne, Clyde Cripps of Fort Worth and I. B. Cripps of Garland.

ALSTYNE - Services for Ivan Fielder
Hopkins, 78-year-old retired grocery store clerk who died Thursday at
Barnett
Laundry in Van Alstyne from an apparent heart attack, will be held at 2
p.m.
Satyrday at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Hugh Moody of the
First
Christia Church will officiate.
Burial
will be in the Van Alstyne cemetery.
Mr.
Hopkins was born in Texas, a son of Mr. and
Mrs. Omar C. Hopkins, and married Hallie Gracy in 1939. He is a
longtime Van
Alstyne resident.
Surviving
are his stepson, Jesse Glen Gracy of
Tom Bean; sisters, Ora Hopkins of Van Alstyne, and Bernice Paul of
Juanita,
Neb; four gradchildren and two great-grandhcildren.
The
family will be at the funeral home from 7
to 8 p.m. Friday and other times at 304 Preston St.
