On Saturday, June 26, 2021 Sarah Blanche Burk joined her loving husband Joe Alfred Burk of 62 years
in Heaven. Sarah was born February 10, 1935 in McKinney, TX to Elzie and Mabel Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, 2 brothers, Harold Ray Jenkins and Thomas Vernon Jenkins
and 2 grandchildren Christopher Burk and Dani Burk.
She is survived by her sister Patsy Stroud of Angelton, TX, 2 sister in laws Neoma Burk of Van Alstyne and Janice Clay of Calera, OK. Children, Vickie Wilkerson (husband Mike), Danny Burk and Tim Burk (wife Donna) Grandkids, Bryan Thompson, Dannel Mayhall, Brenton Burk, Ryan Burk, Earnie Ashburn, Jason Wilkerson and Josh Wilkerson. 11 Great Grandkids and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mark Fletcher, officiating. Burial will follow at the Van Alstyne Cemetery. Bryan Thompson, Brenton Burk, Ryan Burk, Hayden Thompson, Bryson Thompson and Earnie Ashburn will serve as Pallbearers and Dude Crook will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer. The family will receive friends one hour prior of services.
