Patricia Rutherford, 62, beloved mom, grandma, sister and friend passed away peacefully holding her loving daughter's hand on Monday, June 24, 2019.  She was born December 22, 1956 in Sherman, Texas, daughter of Delton and Joyce Brashear.
Pat will be remembered as a beautiful lady both inside and out.  She devoted most of her time and energy to her grandchildren and making wonderful memories with her family.  She was truly loved by all that had the chance to know her.  A hardworking dental assistant, amazing cook, gardener, and so much more.  She loved to visit beautiful beaches and fine dining.
Survived by her sister, Debbie Hemphill; brother, Randy Brashear; eldest daughter, Candace and husband, Gary Clark, of Van Alstyne; and daughter Aaron and husband, Roger Adams, of McKinney.  Grandchildren, Cade Clark, Lana Dawson and Levi Adams. Pat is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Mark Rutherford.
Graveside services were held Saturday morning, June 29, 2019 at the Van Alstyne Cemetery with Rev. Mike Lovely officiating.  Services were under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home, Van Alstyne, Texas.  - - - Scoggins Funeral Home
